Car rental
If you prefer to discover the islands on your own, it helps to rent a car for 3-4
days on Oahu and during your whole stay on other islands. We offer a wide range of
quality Ford and Genera Motors vehicles, from the simplest 2-door economy car to
the plushest luxury models.
To rent a vehicle you need to be at least 25 years of age (although some models can
be driven at 21 for a surcharge), you need a valid permit and a credit card. The
rental fee includes unlimited mileage, CDW insurance, and the Hawaii sales tax. The
vehicle comes with a tank full of gasoline, and should be returned in the same condition.
(The rental agency typically charges higher prices for the gasoline than it costs
to fil the tank up.) The rental price doesn't include the Hawaii road tax (3-4 USD
/ day, payable in person) and any desired, optional insurance.
